Will you flip your watches
I'm not intending to ever flip any of my watches, why ? because I only buy the ones I realy want.I change my cars all the time,as I don't get the same buzz from them,I have still got my old car as I don't want to move it on,were as I know i'll move my Range Rover on when i'm bored of it.You guys the same or do you flip watches, cars etc all the time.

I would NEVER flip my Omega. I did one time, and regretted it very deeply, so I bought a new one about 3 years ago and told myself that I would never sell it again.
My Seiko, that's another stroy lol As for my cars, lol yes I normally buy a new car every 2-3 years tops. I get sick of my cars VERY quickly (and also loose TONS of money very quickly as well lol). I'm 23 years old, and have already gone through 4 new trucks, 1 used car, and 2 new cars lol |

Hello there Ladies and Gents...Just a newbie chiming in. I am definitely guilty of flipping watches, but I have 3 that I swore I would NEVER sell and sure enough 10 years into collecting, they are the only ones that I have never parted with. My Charriol Columbus - aka "the one that started it all" my Super Avenger, and my latest addition to my "Will never sell" list is my Sea Dweller. I am currently on a mission to get back my first Rolex...an '04 Air King with Engine Turned Bezel that I sold to a friend of mine way back when times were rough and I needed some money. I would like to put it in my safe for my son but he is being difficult about selling it back to me...It is his first Rolex too! AHHHHHH I regret ever selling it! =(

I will never sell my Rolexes as they are all keepers. The only exception would be when I give one of them to my son!!!

I won't flip my Sub. But I did flip my DJ. I doubt I'll ever flip the Sub, but the watches after it? I don't know. probably would.

No, I don't plan on flipping any of my watches, Rolex or other brands. I bought them all to enjoy them, and when I'm gone and done with them then they're willed to that snarling pack of wolves who're going to bury me.

I don't flip watches, but I have been known to give them away as gifts. I usually buy a 1 year old car and drive it into the ground. I have a 2001 Jimmy now with 128,000 on the clock.

I agree with Chu88y, I buy watches to keep and wear them. Nice things to hand down one day.

Depends.
I would never 'flip' but I would sell. The difference? Flipping to me is selling one watch to buy another becuase you are bored with the current watch. Selling would be getting rid of it becuase I need the money to pay the mortgage, pay for my boy to have an operation, replace my wife's car etc. If I needed the money to look after my wife and child the watches would be gone in a heartbeat! I tend to buy and hold rather than flip. That's especially true for Oysters. I might entertain flipping a beater or two.

I flipped a LV for a platinum YM and will probably flip the YM for something else down the line. I am a one watch person and I don't like the idea of having a watch just sitting around collecting dust.
