surillious It came with my SM 14060M from GK Scott, look on their website in the submariner section. I think you can call them and buy the Nato strap direct.

I was actually thinking about getting an Explorer II for a beater, but I know, the minute I do, It's gonna be the same thing all over again..."It's too nice for a beater!"
It never ends...

Nice snowflake, Mikey! And welcome to the "Nylon Nation". These Subs look great on Nato's.
It's snowing in Kentucky too.

Exactly, Mark. That's why I bought a SEIKO Black Monster to wear to work as a beater. Got it on as I write this...

I have a nice Seiko GMT, but I only wear it when I KNOW there's a high probability I might crash my watch into something.

Exactly. That is a constant issue with my job - I'm taking computers apart, working on setting up systems in a computer lab, etc. So the BM works out beautifully for me in that environment. All other times, it's one of the Rollies.

The watch looks superb, Mikey. Quite a beater!

Just out of curiosity, is the Nato strap installed correctly? Looks like the buckle is too far up the bottom of your wrist near the case lugs.

presario, you are abso-tively right! I went back to the picture of the watch it was on originally and retreaded it accordingly. What you see in the photo is the result of my jewelers helper and my effort, the blind leading the...well, you know.

Thanks Dude,
Mikey

Well, I will lose the beater competition because mine is a Timex Ironman. I use it when I go bicycling. Otherwise I wear my PEPSI everyday!!!

Explorer 2 black dial

My EXP2 black dial is my daily wear Rolex. Not really a beater but also the most resistant to a beating with no aluminum bezel insert to damage.

I picked up a Seiko Monster for a beater too. They look great on NATO straps for some reason. Don't care for NATO's on anything else, but I do own a few.
