Tudor GMT secondary strap - leather or fabric?
Hi guys,
I'm thinking of purchasing a Tudor GMT on the bracelet. I'm currently being offered no discount but I am being offered a second strap. I most likely have to purchase unseen. Would you pick the leather or fabric? |

I would get the leather with deployment. You can get the fabric strap cheaper if you decide to add it.

Yep…. Fabrics are super easy to find and much more affordable than a nice leather with deployant

I would take the leather and just use aftermarket fabric straps later on

I got the GMT with bracelet, but no free second strap. Lucky you. My AD has both version and I almost got the leather. The red leather strap with deploying clasp is really nice.

I would say that most of the fabric straps that I've tried really haven't worn well (not sturdy enough) or looked well with my GMT. The exception being the C&B adjustable Chevron Strap, which looks great and wears well. If you're going to go with leather then I would suggest the Vintager Straps, they're well made, thick, and look great with this 14.6mm thick watch.

Tudor GMT secondary strap - leather or fabric?
Mine came with the bracelet and I have a fabric strap. I would trade it for the leather if only to get access to the deployant buckle. I prefer a blue/red strap over the factory cloth colore anyway.

Your GMT deserves leather. $44 for this aftermarket Barton.

I prefer the Leather Deployment Strap. I have the bracelet and NATO for the Tudor but it spends most of it's time on the OEM Leather. It gives it a cool retro look.

It's a tall watch, and any fabric strap going behind the case makes it even taller, so bear that in mind.

I ended up buying both a leather and a fabric, not Tudor brand.

I would get that watch on the leather with deployment clasp. It's really smart
