I had a friend who commited suicide by hanging himself & it still haunts me why I couldn't have done more to help him. My thoughts to this ladies family.

I had a friend who had long standing mental health problems, he eventually committed suicide after a few failed attempts. He had specialist mental health input.
You cannot change what has gone, and you cannot always be there for people who need specialist help |

Hey guys...this IS tragic. John Irving wrote a great novel entitled, "Hotel New Hampshire", made into a wonderful film. The grandfather tells his grandchildren about a little clown who made everyone in a small town laugh. No one paid attention to the clown, until he threw himself out a window and was gone; it was only then, that the townspeople realized that they had lost a great neighbor, friend, and ally. The moral of the story? : 1) it is hard work and great art to make life not such a serious thing, and 2) keep walking past the open windows.
Take care, and keep walking past the open windows. Best, Dan |

Tony, don't beat yourself up over something you had no control over. Sometimes life can seemer blacker than black. Certain people see a gimmer of sunrise on that dark horizon, others just see yet more painful and pointless night. Your heart is in the right place and it will always hurt but this was something your friend obviously felt he "needed" to do. Jim |

We all have extreme lows, it is about how we individually deal with it. That does not take away from the tragedy which is a young life lost, whether a known actress or someone you knew. Bad news indeed...

Life is very fragile and we only get one take. It's always a shame to see someone take their own life!!!

life is good...suicide is not an the answer...it is how we handle life that makes people do this but in reality life is the best gift from above...
