Panda or this ?

Hello fellow member so this is my Daytona panda next to a bvlgari chronograph automatic that i have just purchased and I’ve never seen anything like it.
I really like the look of it.
Price aside and name aside which do you think looks more beautiful and what do you think about the piece?
If they were the same price or would you go for the DAYTONA or the BVLGARI ? And
All comments are appreciated.
Thank you

Daytona every time and I've not been shy about my thoughts on the Daytona's shortcomings

I like the bracelet. The dial is pretty nice. The bezel is awful.

For me, it's still the 116500LN.

Yes the Bulgari is a classic and I love the blue. Personally speaking however, the non-functional logo engraved bezel is not to my taste preference. I prefer functional number scales on chronograph bezels in general.

If you got one I think it will grow on you .
I actually have it now for a couple of hours and the dial is mesmerizing .

The Bulgari, For the Dial and bracelet. But the bezel, although interesting is not as esthetic pleasing as the Rolex in this case.

Between the two, I would have to choose the Daytona.

STILL the Daytona... by a country mile.

Sorry if that's not what you want to hear (read).

Enjoy your watches anyway.

From the dial perspective it looks much more legible than the Daytona (never tried one in the real world though)
Like the hidden clasp but the bezel would not be for me - just a big bold bunch of letters that doesn’t really do anything for the functionality.
Also not a fan of the end link as it looks a bit slabby in your pic.

That said you like what you like

For me, the bezel kills the deal.

The dial is nice on the Bvlgari, buts that’s it. The rest is no comparison, aesthetically, to the Daytona. (IMO)
The BV bezel is pretty garish, the case shape is pretty bulky, & definitely a scratch magnet, but the bracelet seems ok.
The Daytona is definitely more pleasing to the eye in every aspect…..Again….IMO.
If you prefer one over the other….that’s all that matters….wear what you like

I’ll be fully hones with you guys, I actually like it more than the Daytona , i know i will get a lot of fire for this opinion but i gave a collection with more than 35 pieces (you can see some of them in my older posts) and tbh this bvlgari is special in my eyes or maybe it’s just the honey moon .
Btw it’s thinner than the Daytona .

Good for you OP for finding a watch you like so much in addition to your Daytona.

Personally, that bezel on the Bvlgari looks absolutely awful and I wouldn't wear that watch even if Bvlgari paid me to do so. Its a shame as the rest of the watch (dial and bracelet) looks OK to me.

I really dislike Daytonas, a lot. This might be the only time I would choose one other the competition!

I had the same feeling about the bezel when i saw it for the first time, but it actually not that bad you wouldn’t notice it if you we’re wearing this piece .

The Daytona hands down. The bezel on the Bulgari is not for me and there are so many other watches that I would buy before ever looking at the Bulgari.

In photos the Bvlgari bezel looks horrible. Panda by a mile. But I am glad you like it. And that is all the matters. Enjoy it in good health!

Regardless of price, the Daytona design is in another zip code of classic elegance. The other, (sorry to say) looks more “fashion watch” in a department store way.

Panda or this ?

This post has me so confused. OP has a Ceramic Daytona, Nautilus, Royal Oak and a $400 T Shirt. Yet wants our opinion on a branded bezel monstrosity that befits only the blingiest of blingers. All while his sheetless bed sits upon the floor beside a pile of dirty clothing.

Daytona by a mile. Don't like the big letters on the Bvlgari bezel or the bracelet design.

The bulgari is a nice watch but outmatched with everything else you are comparing it to. If you like it, wear it and enjoy. But even JC Babin or anyone at the brand with the Genta connection would not suggest it is in the same league as the others.
