More like pic 1. It's tight enough so it never goes over my wrist bone like in pic 2, but still loose enough so that it doesn't get too tight as my wrist size changes size during a 24 hour period.

I'd guess that because wrist shapes vary there are many right answers. Mine tend to be able to slip below the wrist bone but spend most of their time above it. Just wear it as you're comfortable doing.

I wear mine tight and down the wrist not near hand. Not sure how anyone finds it comfortable to be loose and bouncing around but to each their own.

For me…Above the wrist bone, slightly loose. As others have said….just wear it so it’s comfortable to you.

This is absolutely the recommended way to wear a watch (which is exactly how I wear mine incidentally), although obviously it's a case of each to their own.

The reason for wearing it there is two fold - firstly a watch that is too loose will actually cause excessive wear on the bracelet over time, as well as looking a bit sloppy. A watch is meant to be worn such that it doesn't flop about like a bracelet, while also not so tight that it cuts off the blood to your hand (or at least not leaving an imprint on your wrist). It's basically meant to fit. And secondly, a watch worn between the ulna and the hand (i.e. over the actual joint) can impede hand movement and also lead to the crown digging into the back on the hand - therefore being uncomfortable.

As I say, that's the recommended way, but obviously it's each to their own.

I have a slim wrist with a protruding wrist bone that interrupts the line from my forearm to hand, so I wear my watches above the bone (like the OP). I think folks that have larger wrists, or that have an uninterrupted line from the forearm to the hand, can wear their watches closer to the hand (on the wrist bone, even, since it doesn't protrude). Does this make sense? My point being, it's perhaps not just a case of personal preference - one's physical anatomy dictates (to some extent) how one can wear their watch.

Rather a bit loose, I find that when it's tight it bothers me, hand swells a bit, constantly need to adjust it, a bit loose is best

Don’t know how it can be comfortable wearing a metal bracelet on the wrist bone all the time..

I’m in between both your pics, bracelet just stuck before the wrist bone and snug, I can’t stand the watch sliding up and down over the bone.

Like the 2nd pic for me.

If I try it like the 1st pic it just looks and feels so wrong.

I drive a manual weekend car. If I try wear it low like in the 2nd pic, no doubt it will be extremely uncomfortable shifting gears. Honestly don't know how some of you guys wear it so low! Hinders my wrist while trying to bend it up and hate the feeling of the crown digging into my hand.

I wear mine loose enough to float but not loose enough to roll. I get a lot of variation in my wrist size throughout the day based on temperature; the same strap that’s loose in the morning can be tight to the point of discomfort in the afternoon. Some crowns have dug into the back of my hand and I no longer own those watches. There is no one right way to wear a watch just as there is not one shape of wrist.

There’s only one right way to wear a watch, there were the wrists is flat, no protruding bone and where the hand can move freely up and down without touching the crown. That position is above wrist bone.

Second picture for me. I enjoy my watch on the looser end as it's more comfortable for me.

Strap watches normal..

You confuse me with your directions. When someone says "down the wrist" I think nearer to my hand. Maybe it's just me. I've been wrong before.

There’s no one right way to wear a watch because there is more than one shape of wrist, more than one strap and more than one size of watch head and the combinations of these are infinite. For example the only place that my wrist is flat is at the bone, above the bone the watch head slopes away from my view and forces me to view it at an oblique angle even when I’ve rotated my wrist dramatically towards my eyes. Therefore I run my straps and bracelets loose and keep the 6 o’clock side dramatically shorter than the 12 o’clock side so the dial faces me squarely when I look at it. If I missed any irony in your post I apologize.

I used to be like 2 (until 2 months ago), but when i got my DD with no micro adjustment i started to wear it like pic 1 as it was a tad looser than how I normally have it. I realised this was actually way more comfortable with free movement in my wrist not affected by the watch so I subsequently changed all my watch fit to match the DD sizing.

There is no correct answer it is worn the way it feels best on YOUR wrist. With the Glidelock clasp, you can make it fit perfectly no excuses just take your time and it will work. Some have wrists that will as they say won't work, but for me, that has never been an issue.

Loose.

I like for my watch to move around according to what I'm doing and to accommodate swelling and shrinkage throughout the day.

My watch can be tight in the morning before I leave the house, loose once I get out in the coolness of the day, and then tight in the afternoon.

Of course, I don't define tight as many do, but the thing is that I don't like to make adjustments to my watches throughout the day, even if it just means adjusting the "easy-link."

The first picture is how I wear mine, fairly snug like the OP. I usually wear a short sleeve T-shirt so having a cuff blocking my view is rarely a problem, but if I'm wearing a long sleeve shirt it's easy to slide the cuff up with my right hand to get a peek at the dial.
