It is a beautiful piece and one of APs most technically complicated pieces from the past decade.
The only issue that a lot of folks have is it’s size, the sheer depth and lug to lug is substantial. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

This piece is absolutely beautiful in person. I was lucky enough to see it during a tour a Clearwater before several years ago. It’s beAutiful but big! I’m a big guy and I think it’s too big for me. If you can pull it off, afford it and find it…. Go for it!

One of last week's interviews with FHB and Michael Friedman (which I read but now can't find) put a lot of emphasis on AP's future plans for optimizing ergonomics of their new watches and exploring new materials. The 43mm ROO was certainly part of that effort, but also the 15550 is quite a bit thinner than the 15450. The Black Panther also presumably wears much better than prior Concepts (I don't know for sure, as it was "look, don't touch" for me).
So, if I was contemplating a Concept, I would definitely try to find out about future plans, as new models might present a very significant step forward (unless you have 8"+ wrists). |
