I bought another one... (hint: it's green)
I don't like nicknames for watches, but the "hulk" always amused me, even if the watch isn't big.
I used to have a Rolex Hulk (116610LV) but sold it (way before they became so silly expensive) because it no longer "did it" for me. However, the wife loved it and kept giving me crap about selling it, plus, for those occasions when I want a splash of color, it does look quite special. And lately I've become a Steinhart fan, so when I saw their version, I had to get it. It is called the Ocean One; it is 39mm, making it smaller than the Rolex (better for my tiny wrists) and much, much, much more economical. Plus, it has the fancy movement and display back. Color-wise, they pretty much nailed it. You can see in the pics below how different the green looks in different light. These are outdoor pics, the darker ones under clouds, the bright ones (without the cyclops) in bright morning light, direct sunlight. I don't care for the cyclops (wart) so I take them off. This one is running about 5 seconds a day fast, which is not optimal (my other Steinharts average 3 seconds) but it's acceptable. You can read my other Steinhart reviews, but to summarize here: the fit and finish is excellent, the ETA movements are very nice and operate well, keep good time, the bracelet is somewhere between the old tuna can Rolex and the newer "solid end link" versions, albeit without the clever micro-adjustment. In other words, the quality of the bracelet could be better, but they fit well and are very comfortable. The quality of the face, the ceramic bezel, the printing, markings, etc. are all excellent. The bezel is stiff to turn but has no slop in it. These are really nice watches, and actually obtainable from the manufacturer at MSRP, something you can't say these days about our favorite brand. And did I mention affordable? Expect to pay somewhere around $650 for this model, give or take, depending on exchange rates and if you can get a coupon, like I did.

Nice & detailed review - thanks! I do own the LVc (I won’t say the nickname for you. Lol). I’d say they nailed the dial color too. :) I have nobody to pass the watch on to, as my daughter calls it my silly leprechaun watch - haha! And yes, the current market value is crazy; I’m reluctant to wear it at times now. I wore it as a daily for 4 yrs.
