Agreed!

I was at LAX airport the other day, and all of the wall clocks in the terminal are Rolex clocks in the shape of a fluted bezel DJ (with the new indices, even). That’s the iconic “face” of Rolex, and certainly the first one I knew about and recognized.

Love the 36mm DJ. It was my first Rolex … 1988 white Roman’s jubilee. With 7.5” wrist though, I’m now more comfortable in 40-41mm, but agree the 36mm DJ is an all-time classic and iconic watch.

One of my favorites, passed mine down to my son. In the Texas oilfield we referred to it as the Texas Timex

Even today, I bet many more Datejusts are sold than Submariners.

Haha yes it's from the last summer. :D

Still snow and exceptionally cold spring, even by Finnish standards.

Cheers.

Haven't worn mine much in the last couple years but it's starting to get more wrist time.

Many, many years ago, as I was just starting my career in hospital administration.......I remember walking into a hospital meeting room for my first executive board meeting with the hospital CEO. The majority of the various department heads seated around the table, mostly males older than me, were wearing TT DJs. The morning light coming through the windows was just right, seeming to hit every fluted bezel in the room. The reflected light patterns bounced off the walls like from a disco ball in a ballroom. It was mesmerizing!

36mm two-tone DJ is one of the most iconic...
I tend to agree.
