Any Blancpain lovers here?
I love Rolex watches, but I also love Blancpain watches as much as Rolex. My Blancpain watches population is now about to exceed the Rolex population.🤦*♂️

BlancPain fan here of both the FF and FF Bathyscaphe lines. Terrific heritage, distinct design and just a fanatically well made watch. My only qualm is my sailcloth didn't last as long as I had hoped but the ceramic option on the case of my Bathy is bulletproof.
Considering what they trade for in the used market, definite bargains to be had. |

Right.
The old Kevlar(sail cloth) strap was not very durable, but it was comfortable to wear. The new Kevlar strap, which was changed around 2021, was a little less comfortable to wear, but the durability was greatly improved. |

Have really warmed up to this storied brand after learning about it's history, especially the FF line. Quite impressive. On my radar this year, planning on a NYC boutique visit.

Yes, I am a big fan of Blancpain's Fifty Fathoms limited edition series. Here my No Rad with the X-71 bracelet.

I love them, really I do. Something just holds me back from dipping my toe, and I’m not sure what that is.

As for the 45, value wise, you can score one with a decent discount either at a - guessing - AD, or definitely a grey. The 45's don't give me that "under the radar" feel. Bathyscape is interesting, because it's a sub 10K price point with a superb movement on a dive watch. Quite unique. |

On a bracelet as my sailcloth strap started falling apart! I have been looking at the No Rad. How do you find the rubber strap on it OP? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

This is 45mm Fifthy Fathoms's Rubber Strap. https://www.instagram.com/p/CMesusFr0qA/ The strap for the 45mm Fifty Fathoms is lug width of 23mm, but it can also be attached to the lug width of 22mm Air Command. It can also be fitted on Bathyscaphe(43mm) with a lug width of 23mm. You can probably order it from a boutique near you. |

Original poster (OP), it is the person who starts a discussion thread.

With this metal bracelet the No Rad looks a bit larger (and better to me) on my wrist. The X-71 is much more comfortable than the tropic strap, which tends to stick a bit. |

I am lucky to own two Blancpains, I love the brand. Hopefully this year Blancpain can surprise us and will release a 40-42 mm no date Fifty Fathoms

As a Rolex fan boi, I own a SD and YM which I wore 24/7 for 40 years and loved them.
That said, from the moment I saw my first FF, I knew I had to own one, but I figured they were out of my reach. Recently I came across a 5015 blue Ti on the X71 Ti bracelet - at a good price. Used but new. Minor handling marks, but obviously not worn or broken in by the original owner. Not the best pic, but I am working on that. 1315 movement! Mine is .6 seconds a day off. Incredible! I have to say that I believe this Blancpain is superior to Rolex in every metric. |

I actually have this Villeret Ultra Slim in Platinum, but I truly love the Fifth Fathoms. So I’ve been thinking of selling this one soon… Enviado do meu iPhone usando Tapatalk |
