Plain Steel Bracelet for Two Tone Tudor?

I have had a Tudor GMT S&G for a few months - purchased with their outstanding leather strap and deployment clasp. I have really been enjoying the watch for its design and quality. For some hot weather travel, I popped it on a Tropic Strap, which was a nice pairing. The gold tone is very dark, subtle and it adds to the "root beer" effect.

However, I'm more of a bracelet guy - but a two tone bracelet really wouldn't match my personal style. I was thinking of a Forstner bracelet for my GT - maybe their model 'J', a jubilee?

Any recommendations or admonitions for pairing a regular steel bracelet with a two tone watch?

Rolex used to do this all the time on OP/DJ models. Over the years I've seen many with YG bezels, crowns, and hour markers but all-steel bracelets. I think it's all about fit when it comes to a bracelet not original to the watch. Depending on size, maybe the Ranger or BB 36/41 would fit?

This is on the Tudor Bracelet from the 79220R. Also fits the Pepsi GMT. Most of the 41mm models I believe.

Looks real good...I have the same model, only two months old, and I am thinking of switching out the two-tone bracelet for a different reason. I am careful with all my watches and I have never seen a bracelet pick up so many scratches and marks this fast - ever. Mind you, I have owned Rolexes with the center polished links and with those you expect to pick up quite a few scratches...but the Tudor bracelet does not have those being brushed gold and steel.

So, not sure what I'll do. Still too hot out here in Phoenix to switch out to the leather band I bought for the watch so will tough it out for now, but a bit disappointed how quickly it has picked these up. Also, the link situated directly under the clasp looks really beat up and I have already covered it with some 3M plastic to reduce any further damage.

It's a magnificent watch, though...incredibly accurate and have received some nice compliments on its looks...I still definitely prefer it to its big CHNR brother...

Why not? Your watch, your choice.

The one pictured above looks great.

That's good to know!! Once on wrist, I pretty much forget my watch is there, so scratches are just gonna happen. I like bracelts, in general. I tend to wear my watches just a little loose, so they work. I love an adjustable clasp, though.

If you find something you like, post a pic!
