I told this to my students today, and they all loved it. We'll see what their parents say when the kids tell them at dinner tonight, "My teacher told me I drink the piss of Julius Caeser."

Aren't your students just a little bit frightened having their lessons imparted by a huge primate?

(This is one of the very best threads. I hope people keep it going.)

Once a human reaches the age of 35, he/she will start losing approximately 7,000 brain cells a day. The cells will never be replaced. I guess that explains why we start throwing our money on Rolex. ;)

I wonder if the latter has anything to do with the former?

Dr. Martin Seligman, psychologist & researcher, has noted that when people find "3 Good Things" which happened to them earlier in the day, wrote them down and then speculated about "why" these things occurred, felt significantly less depressed after a month.

Regardless of your height your legs are always just long enough to reach the ground.

Who's have thunk it?

Mascara was first invented in 1917 by Eugene Kimmel. His sister complained to him that the man with whom she was enamored, was attracted to another woman. She believed that if she could bat her long eyelashes at him, she would have a chance of attracting him. Mr. Kimmel, in response to his sister's distress, mixed petroleum with black coal dust. Hence, the first mascara was born (cake mascara).
