FS: 1954 Rolex Submariner 6200 Big Crown Tropical 3, 6, 9 Dial

Description: Case: The thick and even case is excellent showing wide prominent bevels and some light wear from use. The early bezel without minute indexes between 0 and 10 is also in excellent condition showing some light wear from use. Dial: The dial is an extremely rare early Swiss only glossy gilt 3, 6, 9 service dial. It is in excellent condition and has aged with an extensive and deep amber tropical patina. The lume has aged to a warm creamy hue and the hands have aged just slightly lighter than the dial. Bracelet: The newer 12 link Swiss rivet bracelet is excellent showing only light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1969 date code. Accessories: None. Notes: The grandfather of them all.
