Forgot where I read this, but someone claimed that the 15510st isn’t going anywhere. Perhaps new reference number and obviously standard gold rotor, but they won’t be going back to the old 15500 etc. same with the 37mm

This is correct. All references stay the same.

Indeed. Was browsing earlier today and they still have the PT and Open Worked Jumbo listed as 50th anniversary.

Can't understand why 15500 is still part of the current collection and not legacy.
There are still 6 references listed.
15450 was moved long time ago.

This just means the random piece here and there is still floating around the network to be delivered. OR the technically challenged web elfs of AP who don't follow a staging and testing before pushing of the release haven't gotten around to it yet.

It's especially weird since last night It actually was in the legacy section, and now it's back in the current collection as well.

So does 15500….still not removed

26240 are missing so are 16202 in steel and rose gold.
Can’t imagine these being discontinued

The 50th anniversary rotors are gone. They switched the images to the standard gold rotor.

After comparing the two, even though I usually LOVE the regular standard rose gold AP rotors. I must say I’m kinda digging the 50th anniversary white gold one (perhaps a psychological effect of the discontinuation and owning one ). But I do think that as time passes and years go by, the 50th rotor will be more appreciated by watch connoisseurs. Also, after inspecting it with a loupe I can definitely say the finishing on the 50th rotor is slightly more detailed than the standard rotor.

Everyone, today marks the end of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the RO. This thread has been a very lively and fun way to go through the special releases that happened during the past year, together.
I want to thank you all, the great online AP community, for taking part in it. I hope everyone got allocated what they wished for (or will get it during the new year).

Happy new year my friends, may it be greater than the last!

Well, I spent all my watch money for 2022 and then some. So I guess it was a good year

WOW! This is first time for me to see this in a wrist shot. That is really impressive beyond what I would have thought on a man’s wrist.

I can’t find the msrp for this white gold/bejeweled version. I hadn’t realized before that this version also comes in 43mm and 37mm sizes. This one in pic must be 43mm.

And that one is 43mm... beside size that look different regarding of wrist size the 37mm have textured straps, they don't have the even number of light blue tanzanite gems... 43 have them all in line and 37mm have 2 missing... also all ruby parts occupied one tapisserie space with 2 gems and 43mm have two spaces occupied by rubies at nine o'clock
