Well if I could source the daytona from an ad, it's value would be very close to a sub, and it would be a no brainer. I wouldn't even need to let go of the ap. Just maybe take a slight hit on the sub

However, it isn't available and the going grey rate for the daytona is approx usd 60k. If I were to trade in my sub and add cash, I will need to add approx usd 24k cash. Hence the logic of trading in my ap to top up the difference.

That being said, I do like these 2 watches and the variety I am able to get from them would probably give me more pleasure than the daytona. I'm still on the hunt for it but will plan to wait till I can get it from an ad at retail prices, or hope the overall market softens
