I have one as well, my only Rolex, and there’s something so quietly strong about it compared to the two other Rolexes I’ve owned - and sold - before. The proportions (to my eye anyway) are simply killer.

Spot on, that! A timeless choice -- understated and, yet, refined.
Wear it in good health and with great pride (and welcome to TRF)!

I agree 100 percent. I think the aggressive tapering of the bracelet is what is really sexy about the new explorer. I know its kinda a either love it or hate it design… but i love it

Only 9 months; I expect one should appear soon. The wait is part of the fun...

Congrats!
Hope it has been well cleaned and sterilized so you don't catch the Rolex bug as if you do it's very hard to fight it.

The "it" I'm referring to is the integrated bracelet watch silhouette Rolex cleverly "hid" in that watch. Look at the iconic watches of that style (very popular now) and you'll see aggressive lug taper and bracelet taper that follows it, much like today's Explorer. |

Awesome thanks for pointing this out to me! Something I didn’t realize. It’s funny you don’t see a lot of these things in photos of reviews but the moment we see them in person then you really “see” it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Good choice! The most beautiful watch in the current range by a long way.
