The black dial is so much cooler that I can’t believe the white dial is more popular.

I have both. I prefer the black, it's just more classic Rolex to me.

I had and wore both, the White dial looks great in pictures but it was always the Black dial that popped more in practically all lighting conditions and ultimately was more pleasure/interesting to wear, sold the White therefore with no regrets, due to the herd following hype around the White I got far more too, so a win, win.

Black I find is very difficult to read in low light even with glasses. Still a beauty
