Does anyone have experience with using an independent in Charlotte NC for basic service?

Windsor Jewelers in Charlotte and Winston-Salem have a certified tech and a parts account. I have used them in the past and have been more than pleased with the work. Price is not bad and the turn around times have been good. Give them a call and see what they tell you.

Stay away from ECJ Luxe. They told me they had a watch repairman, so I let them repair the date wheel on my 116613LB. They beat my watch all to Hell and then ghosted me. I still have all the pictures and text messages between myself, Chris, and Ross. My watch was sent to them in near mint condition which Chris acknowledges in the texts.

I have been going to Claude for a long time. His turnaround is slow (due to volume) but I trust him. I brought him my 5512 which hasn’t been serviced in 20 years and when he opened it, realized that the last watchmaker who serviced it was his uncle.
