Incoming: Grand Seiko's SBGA Tokyo Lion and the SLGC001 Tentagraph

I have been looking at these Grand Seiko watches since they were announced. I had previously owned a Lion from the last generation of watches but moved it on after a while. The Tentagraph is interesting based on the size, dial and it is a first for Grand Seiko based on the movement. Both wear well and should hang around the collection for a while. I typically don't like buying two special watches at once but these were available so I decided to do it. Not the best pictures but the best I can do.

Thank you for the kind words. The lume was a surprise but I think it is cool. The Tentagraph is two seconds fast per day so far but I have not given it any real wrist time yet.

That white Lion is beautiful, often pictures of Grand Seiko don’t do them justice, I imagine it’s spectacular in the flesh?

Great pieces.

Have you been happy with the fit and comfort of the SBGA481, especially with the way it sits on your wrist and the clasp comfort?

Thanks, JR
