White gold rolex pen
Can someone confirm whether rolex makes a white gold rolex wave pen? I've seen posting and articles about the yellow gold rolex wave pen but never a white one.

Can the pens be bought or only given out by the AD?

I'm buying this from a seller off of a auction website we are all familar with. Buying the yellow gold one first to check it out. If all works out I might buy another yellow gold one or the white or SS one. They're not solid gold but still nice to collect if your AD don't hand one out to you.

I've got one
In Århus, Denmark, the AD stocks all this merchandise. I got one a few months ago for 140US$. Looks nice, feels semi cheap, doesn't work anymore and is misplaced. Like the rest of their merchandise stuff it'll convince you that Rolex is a watch company. Put it this way - who'd prefer a Montblanc watch, who'd love a Louis Vuitton watch...
best regards Sune |

Well, now I've found it again in a drawer and wrestled the empty parker refill from it. Wouldn't not get it, but I'd never buy it because of it's quality. Flashes nicely though. I'm that shallow.

Better to do what I do.
Get a $3 Pilot G2 and put a genuine mont blanc refil inside. Very comfy and such a sweet scribble, I've got quite a few since I saved a packet by getting a multi refill pack.

I've done this and it didn't work too well for me. After a few months, the pen would dry out on me since it did not have a cap. All of mont blanc roller pens have a cap so that the ink does not dry up at the tip and stops the ink from flowing correctly.

The children and I have been using them for the last couple of years and they are a real smooth write. I have never owned a Mont Blanc pen so I can't compare the feel of the watch or the emotion of owning such a brand.

I've own several and enjoy using them on a day-to-day basis given the type of work I do. They are design so that you can write with them for long period of time without feeling uneased....except when you write out the check to pay for them ;-) The same passion goes into making them and from a consumer's point-of-view....collecting them. Regarding the roller ball version, my mont blanc stay smooth and consistence for over a year before I had to replace the ink. Things didn't work out as well with my G2 conversion.

That crown on the end of the pen does look cool.
But what about the quality of the pen otherwise, is it worth $300 or is that just a hyped up price? I think JJ want a Rolex handbag to go with his Subbie

Entry gold plated pens from mont blanc goes for $500 to $1000. $275 is not too bad (not great either) but how do you put a price on something that does even sale for retail. JJ would look great with a rolex scarf LOL

From this whole forum. Does Rolex really make genuine pens from their company, and not some sort of third party producer?
