Explorer II date change
The normal date change always from 00:00am to 00:15am of my Rolex explorer II, somehow it changes the date at 2am from last week had been found, is it something wrong with it? Model 16570, calibre 3186. Thanks!

The date can only change when the hour hand has made two complete turns around the dial.Rolex uses a cam system possible could need a service as sometimes can get dry and slow to slip of the cam.Or again possible the hands on the hand stack possible loose, or slightly misaligned. Some change a little before midnight some after but as long as its changed when you wake up in morning dont worry about it.But early models with the 3186 movement did have a date change problem but rectified by Rolex. So if no service history have it serviced by RSC where Rolex will fit the modified part as part of service then have a two year warranty.
