As much as I like the Panerais, I wouldn't buy one on a bracelet.
IMO, the Rolex is suited to a bracelet more than Pan's are.

Sorry R, not bracelet for the 00o or 112. Those are strap only models.

My AD had an open house party this evening. Had a chance to see a few Panerai's & some variation of the buckles.
One fellow had the Gold Luminor. The buckle was gold also. It was the same size as the ones I have, but in gold, it looked really large & IMO, not very good.
The gold thumbnail is spectacular. They had the 197 again. Beautiful watch, but not for $24k. One lady was trying to talk me into buying it
The Gold Radiomir base was stunning also, but again, the buckle too much for my taste

I actually loved the bracelet model PAM, just liked other models more. The new Daylight chrono on bracelet is the BOMB!! If I wasn't in line at my AD for a 98 early next year I would be all over that baby!!

Here is 44mm SS/Ti combo so it was comfortable and beefy at the same time.

Now you're talkin', baby...now you're talkin'!!!! Hubba, bubba!!!

And that's the ONLY way a Panny should be worn, in my very honest opinion!!!

Sold that watch less than a week after I got it. If I wanted a bracelet, I would get a IWC Inge or Rolex. I strongly prefer straps, especially Pannies.

That said, that watch was alot of fun to own and if funds were not limited, that would be in the family for sure.

Sad to learn it's no longer with you, Daren.....if there's one Panny I really like, then it would have to be that one!!!
