Please help me with my first 16610 Submariner
Iam very close to buy a Rolex Submariner 16610 M Model. I only have some small problems.
Is the Rolex a fake and do I pay the correct prize for the watch? The watch is brand new and is sold by a small company, not a Auth Rolex Dealer. Do I have to go to a Rolex AD and have it verified or can I check it myself? Is the prize $5400 a good deal? Iam pretty happy with the deal just scared to buy a copy... Kind regards, D. |

Firstly, welcome to TRF.
If you're not sure about the authenticity of the watch......WAIT!!!! Don't plonk down a single cent until you are 100% sure the watch is genuine. Maybe you could tell that guy you would like to have the watch checked out by a Rolex dealer. As for the price, the MSRP is US$6,000 so it seems you are getting just 10% off. Not sure if that's good or bad. I'm pretty sure there are guys here on this forum who can give you a much better deal......and guaranteed 100% genuine!! Good luck - JJ

I got an SS Sub Date for $4950 (wire price) at Bernard, one of the most reputable gray sellers. So, I would say that this price is a little high. It's a great watch though, get one before they change it in 2010.
