Perrelet Turbine Watch

I saw this watch video on youtube and would like to know if anyone has experience with the Perrelet brand? I think the turbine watch will be around $7500 and I'm seriously thinking about purchasing one instead of a SS Daytona.

Perrelet watches are extremely well built. I tried some and what can I tell you? Even for 2000$ you get the feeling of "premium" watch! And, when I say "premium", I REALLY mean it! And, about movements, they`re using modified ETA`s, which is not necessarily bad...
Anyway, for 7500$...I would go for Daytona!
Well, it`s a Rolex forum, after all...

Thanks for your input Vukota. I assumed the Turbine watches would be using the double rotor style movement from Perrelet; the P-181 which they supposedly developed.

Tough decision!

Calwilly,
I like this watch too but there is one aspect that bothers me about it and that is the low contrast between the dial and the hands. Certainly the rotating dial element will help, but maybe you should double check it to be sure.

It's not as bad as the black on black Bell & Ross models etc. but I've found watches with this characteristic to be a pain after awhile. Silver hands on a glossy white or silver dial gets old too. Or maybe it's me getting old.
