In this case I am not looking for negative feedback, I am like a little boy who is extatic with his new toy and wants to share it with friends on the forum. Nothing more, nothing less.

I have no problem you (and others) not liking the car or wheels. Really not.
But please let me be happy with what I like , okay ?

You have summed up perfectly what makes this forum unique. It's about applauding and routing for everyone else, and whatever makes them happy.

Enjoy your new ride! I had the chance to drive the hardtop S5, and it's magnificent. I'm sure the convertible is even more fun!

Ok , I will but keep in mind the coupe has the V8 , the drop top has 'only' a V6 albeit with compressor.
Next year the coupe gets the same engine.
I have driven the coupe too and so far I like the V6 equally , less rumble but lots of torque down under.

I may be new to this forum, but I am far from new to internet forums.

The intent of my original comment was not to dampen the excitement of your recent purchase. Trust me, I know the feeling. I'm sorry it came across that way.

I owned an S6 Avant. A wonderful car from a technical perspective, as I know yours is. I hope you have much better experience with the build quality of your car than I did. That was ultimately the reason why I sold it.

Did the "V6T" badges on the fenders come from the factory? Or did you add them? I would remove them, either way. Once again, your car so whatever floats your boat.

Outside of those two critiques, a very nice car, indeed. I've had the opportunity to ride with one of my driving instructors in an S6 coupe on the track. Quite a capable car, for such a big and heavy vehicle.
