Bluesy returned.... But still happy.

Hi there guys,

You might remember me getting the Bluesy two weeks ago?

From the start I heard that it was having a bit of noise from the pendulum, but being another caliber than my GMT, I didn't think much of it. Wore it, loved it, everything was perfect.

Then, I stumbled upon the thread about a noisy rotor, reading the thread I was sure that my Bluesy's rotor was not only worn, but most likely half-loose since I could hear it banging against the caseback and caliber...

I was devastated... Thinking it has probably scratched the movement too...

So I whent back to my dealer, (this was a used one) he's a nice guy, and obviously noted the problem right away.

He offered my money back, or send it to service on his account, but I took a brand new (never worn) D-serial LV sub instead.

Boy I'm happy, after all, the bluesy would have been a dream come true, but I love the LV too!!! For now, I'll just lick my Bluesy wound and be glad that there was no hazzle with the return/exchange.

My dealer, certainly knows how to keep his customers happy!
Thanks Juha (if you are reading)!

Thanks, yes, sad story, I was looking so much forward to a long acquaintance with the 16613, but a lesson to be learned, be careful with used watches...

Andreas, Are you sure it was noisy rotor or just the bracelet?

However, congrats on your new LV.

Thanks JJ.

It was the Rotor, it wasn't just noisy, it was loose!

Anyway, as I visited the shop today, the seller informed me that it was to be returned today serviced with a new bearing/axle for the rotor. But this kinda killed of my passion for the Bluesy. So I left it at that.

Loving the LV, all in all, this just might have been a lucky break for me.

Had exactly the same problem with mine but thankfully the London RSC fixed it FOC even though it was outside its warranty period

He is a great guy, only been buying trading watches at his store since august 2009, but he's a real nice guy to talk to, and to do business with.

And the service is great, not happy with your purchase, return no questions asked and no hazzle! Like it should be.
