Blah, thanks SteelerFan (even though I am a very devoted Seahawks fan).
For some reason, I was told 4-6 weeks at the AD - and it seemed that most were coming home around the 5 week mark. But I am getting a new dial, new hands, new crystal and cleaning. Does that count as a complete overhaul? It's a 1984 SS Sub Date that has never been in for service. But there were no problems with it (besides rusted hands). |

8 weeks is not bad--also a good reason to get a 2nd watch!!! The AD usually tellme 4-6 and for some reason it ends up being 8 weeks!! All good though--soon you get her back--and better than when she left! I was in Detroit for the game--tough loss!! Sorry mate--think about how the Cards felt on that last drive!! Sorry Card fans--no disrespect!

why does everyone have their ad send in their watch? i mean i did that once but my watch sat in that add for almost 2 weeks before they even sent it out to rolex... then when it comes back in they take 2 or 3 days to even call you about its return.. everything is slower with ad's... cut out the middle man and send it in your self.. much faster

I've usually had to wait about four weeks, but I haven't sent one in for a while. I have read reports of wait time becoming longer though.

Thanks guys, I'll hang in there I guess
I've never sent a watch to RSC and honestly didn't even know how to go about it. It was worth the 75 bucks to make sure that it was packaged correctly, insured and well taken care of, I guess... Steelers - I was in Detroit as well for XL. I think I was the only one wearing blue. And people in yellow and black kept telling me to "Go drink some coffee..." |
