NEWSFLASH ! ROLEX is now fitting SuperJubilee's to ...

*NEWSFLASH* For those of you waiting for the DateJust II with SuperJubilee~

See:
This March issue of Vanity Fair on page 122 has this ad clearly showing Gustavo Dudamel wearing a DateJust II with a Super Jubilee bracelet; (see JJ, you should've waited ! )

Thanks,
Your "Keen Eye Reporter Extraordinary",
Randy

or it could be that Gustavo Dudamel after seeing JJ's watch with the super jubilee...also had to buy from someone the super jubilee and put it in his watch... just like the ex-ceo

It is quite certain that if this is being advertised that its already avl; look for a huge "splash" at Basel, and in showrooms shortly thereafter...

Thanks,

if it is shown at basel in march, expect to have the first batch on the shelves at around sept/oct of the same year.
Spare parts should be available from the RSC a few months after that.....

I would even gather to expect Super's to show up even 'before' Basel and already being fitted; they may be in ADs displays already in limited supplies and then after Basel you will see lots and lots !

i hope you are right....

But knowing rolex, why would they release a new bracelet fitment for the DJII before basel when many critics inthe watch world were saying they shouldve released the DJII on a jubilee bracelet of any sort in the first place.....

Guess there is only one way to find out

Anyone reckon that we might also see domed bezels which IMHO go better with the DJII's oyster bracelet? The jubilee definitely works with the fluted bezel though.

Not sure that it wont happen to the DJ line, that is a DAY-DATE (if I am not mistaken), DEEP SEA trait, who knows it culd happen...

ADs never know diddly; they have to wait til it shows up in their shipments before they know it as fact, then they go, "wow, didnt see that comin," or, "wow, finally they're here, as promissed;" see, the Super was always in the works for the "IIs" and for some strategic "yung punk" marketing guru, reasoned to release it later...

So, the question is, are the super jubilee bracelets on the DJII 20mm?

Sorry guys, but I think the watch on his wrist is different from the one advertised.

The one on his wrist looks like the older 36 mm on Jubilee. I don't believe Rolex have come up with the 41 mm DJ2 on Jubilee.

End of story - JJ
