Rolex DJ TT 116203
Hello,
I have been lurking here for a few months, educating myself. I have found a Rolex DJ 116203 with Oyster Bracelet and Blue Concentric Arabic dial for local sale. The watch was purchased in 2007. the watch i am looking at is the same style as this ebay listing, but NOT the same exact watch: http://cgi.ebay.com/Rolex-Mens-watch...item53ddc4f3f5 I am wondering what the guru's have to say for a price range for this beautiful watch. I will be looking at the watch this weekend. From the pictures it looks like it is in very good shape with very little wear. Is around the $5k reasonable for this watch? Thanks for your help in advance, have a great weekend! Last edited by spellman21; 27 February 2010 at 12:14 PM.. Reason: clarification |

Welcome to the Forum!
The watch looks good and the seller is solid. The price appears the average for this watch but...the seller does not list the year of production nor if the "papers" are included. If there are no papers, you should be able to do a lot better on the price. Good luck, let us know how it went! |

Thanks for the advice thus far, i should clarify my question better.
I will not be looking at the e-bay watch, i was only showing it as an example. The watch i am looking at is the same style, not the same watch. I am wondering what a "good" price is for this watch. He is asking $3,000 for the watch, which appears to be in line with the prices i have seen here, if not a little cheaper. Thanks again! |

"same style" that's a tough one! Do you have model number, year of production, package included (box/papers), two tone?, condition, pictures would be better.... see what I mean?! |

Yep, its a Two Tone, box/papers included, same exact dial, oyster band, 2007 model year. 116203. Condition looks good from the pictures however i am sure it has normal surface scratches etc. Assuming there are no major dings, dents etc, what would you guess at a price range? The models 1162XX seem to be going for over $5k on ebay, and around $4k around here...

You first said, "He is asking $3,000 for the watch, which appears to be in line with the prices i have seen here, if not a little cheaper."
Now you say - "...and around $4k around here... " If the seller will allow you to take pictures and post them here, we can give you a better range... Be careful out there... |
