Paddy and Mick are walking down a street in Manchester. Paddy happens look in one of the shop windows and sees a sign that catches his eye.

The sign said "Suits £5.00 each, Shirts £2.00 each, Trousers £ 2.50 per pair"

Paddy says to his pal, "Mick, look! We could buy a whole lot of doze, and when we get back to Ireland , we could make a feckin' fortune. Now when we go into de shop, you be quiet, okay? just let me do all de talking, cause if they hear your accent, they moight not be noice to us. Oi'll put on me best English accent, dey’ll never know.'

Roight y'are, Paddy, I'll keep me mouth shut, so I will.'says Mick.

They go in and Paddy says in his best English accent, "Good day to you kind sir. I'll take 50 suits at £5.00 each, mixed sizes; 100 shirts at £2.00 each, mixed sizes; and 50 pairs of trousers at £2.50 each, again, mixed sizes if you'd be so good. I'll back up my van and ………….."

The owner of the shop interrupts him, "You're from Ireland, aren't you?"

"Well . . Yes," says a surprised Paddy, lapsing back into his delicate Irish lilt. "How der hell d'y tell dat?"

The owner says, "because this is a dry cleaners."
