On A 5513, Do They . . .
If an all-original 5513 went in to RSC, they would install a triplock crown as a matter of course. I would like to know: Do they polish or grind the crown shoulders so that the triplock crown will fit?

The early 5513s did NOT have a triplock... my '67 (1.64 mill) still ahs an original twin lock crown

It is my understanding that the 5513 case is the same through the 30+ years of production.
With the early ones being fitted with the twinlock crown/tube and the later ones fitted with the triplock crown/tube. No need for any grinding. |
