Happy Sunday, Mother's Day, Birthday, etc., to all.....My mother's Czech, so it's appropriate to be raising a glass to her with this!

Na zdravi!

I'm taking the wife to Outback for lunch today (they graciously open for lunch on special occasions) and a matinee play later. I'll be wearing this.

Best wishes to all TRFers lucky enough to have their Mothers around - in good health and spirits.

Not that I have to ask, but please call your Mom, give her a hug if she is near, and please tell her how thankful you are for all she has done for you.

My Mom was not a wealthy woman in financial terms and not prone to extravagant gifts, but she did enjoy it when I would like her presents. A finicky son, she knew not to get me clothing or things of that sort...so I suspect she got my sister to help pick out this Fossil watch for me.

My Mom lost her battle with Cancer a little over two years ago. She gave me this watch a Christmas or two before she became very ill. I wore the watch to work and on many formal occasions before I became a "WIS" I keep this in my watch box next to the Rolexes...it's just as special!

Great story Bill, you are right its special to appreciate ones mother particularly while they are still around. I visited my mother in hospital today. She has her mind which is great but at 93....it's a long innings.

Congrats on your mom's longevity, Steve!

I hope it runs in the family, for your sake.
