Chronograph usage

For the Daytona owners out there, do you actually use the chronograph feature?

I've had the chronograph function on 3 watches over the years...Fossil, Seiko and Tissot. I like the look so I thought about the Daytona, but I ended up passing on it because I never used the feature and felt it was a waste on having something that won't get any use.

Well I would say the average Daytona user in reality quite seldom, very much like the 80% of all Rolex sports watches sold today. That are seldom used for what they was designed for. And dont see water or any wet stuff, other than a perhaps a dip in the shower, or if a bit braver, a dip in the pool or the sea.

I have 2 Chronos and have never used the functions. I bought them only to give my collection a different look.

I use it regularly although I don't use mine on the track much, now a days I rarely get to drive on a track.

Mostly for time appointments & billable hours. Once in a while I use it to verify the speedometer of different cars I end up in.

Fun stuff:
traffic conditions
pizza guy
bank tellers
taxi
travel time (airlines)

time outs(!)

And sometimes when I'm bored I watch it run.

I was going to post a topic similar to this yesterday. I was going to ask if anyone leaves their chronograph functions running all the time manual wind or automatic like the Daytona.
