I do wonder how much the antenna issue is going to cost Apple. I know someone who was about to switch from BB to iPhone, but after reading that got an Android-based system instead.

They are still killing microsoft no matter what you say. Just because you dont like them means nothing.
The OP and I have been going back and forth with this for a year in a friendly way. He's more of a microsoft Fanboi than I an apple fanboi because unlike him I have, use and like Microsoft products especially Windows 7. |

Looks like Apple still has a way to go to catch Microsoft:
Microsoft $16.04 billion / net quarterly profit of $4.52 billion Apple $15.7 billion / net quarterly profit of $3.25 billion |

My Blackberry has served me well..
I do plan on getting an iPhone when I'm eligible for my discounted upgrade next November. By then the iPhone 4gsx2 will be out and hopefully working right lol

stay away from the iphone 4... not only is the phone rubbish but the new software is even more rubbish. when i'm on the phone, half way through the call it will die. wont turn on for a further 5 mins. then freezes once on. i could go on an on about the faults.

Well, my 3GS serves me well. While the iPhone4 is cool and all, it is not different enough to warrant the change. The screen is nicer, the battery is better, camera is better (but I got a DSLR), and it is a little faster.
For me, my screen is good enough, my battery life is good enough, my camera isn't used much, and well...I guess it is fast enough too. For me, the iPhone 4 just isn't improved enough to warrent the frenzy. Don't get me wrong, it is great, but nothing crazy like all the attention it is getting.

The only thing worth buying from Apple is the iPhone 3G and 3GS. Sorry people, I can't stand Steve Jobs and his fanboys. Apple is a fashion brand, not an innovator. Always has been and always will be.

I've had the 4g for 2 weeks now... works fantastic and no dropped calls. Best phone out there hands down IMHO. I also have a blackberry for work purposes but I just despise the darned thing...

Haters are gonna hate. That's what they do. Usually they are a pretty miserable bunch.

For me the iphones have been a joy to own and use, however I do realize the experience varies depending on the user's location (ie. NYC and San Francisco- signal/issues with ATT). I've been lucky enought to live in areas where the signal is great. |
