Day Date Bracelet

Hello,

How can I tell wether my Day Date bracelet is stretch or not? I have recently purchased a Day Date on white gold from the late 1970s and I would like to know how long will it last, specially the bracelet, below a link with a couple images of the watch

http://gallery.atpic.com/35993

Thanks a lot

P.D: How do you clean the white gold, its bracelet and dial diamonds? just water and soap?

Thanks!

As far as I can see the bracelet is rather good.

When bracelet parts are stretched the parts have large gaps.

Yours looks remarkable good for a 30Y+ bracelet

Yes just plain old soap and water thats all thats needed to keep any Rolex oyster in good condition.Just keep it clean don't wear too loose should last for many many years. The dial like any watch is protected by the watch crystal if its acrylic they are replaced as part of normal routine service. While gold is a softer material than s.steel just follow a simple routine in keeping it clean cannot see any problem

That is a good looking watch, (aftermarket dial) with very little stretch for it's age.
