It looks amazing- especially now that I can see how it was before servicing/polishing!
I'm so torn...but think I'll keep this subbie the way it is: complete with 17+ years of nicks, scratches, dings and fading...

Just make sure that when you service it that you ask them not to buff those out.

Will make a mental note of that...I know my friend always told them to not polish/brush out the 'imperfections' when he serviced it because he liked the patina/character it was acquiring...it's due in 3 years, and I think I'll continue what he did...

That's an all time classic, Marc.............congrats. The X-series would date it back to around 1991 or 1992.
