Todays AD Visit
Well I went to my local AD today.
I tried on the Deap Sea. This is the second time I have tried this watch on. It's impressive and massive, but just a bit big for me. See next paragraph, however I did want to try on the monster. They let me try on the new SUBC. They said it was in the safe still and it is being reserved for very loyal customers.I have bought 3 Rolex watches this year so they said I was qualified. Great looking watch but I am just not ready to get another watch which looks so much like one I have already (GMTIIC). I would much rather prefer something right now which is a bit different from what I already have. I Begged them for an opportunity to get the SS White Daytona, we'll just have to see. I did get a white rolex hat though, I had the opportunity to try on a couple of watches and talk about Rolex watches so it was a very good trip really. Its nice just to window shop every once in a while. Had I been able to get a SS White Daytona it wouldhave been alot better.

There are many trusted sellers here on TRF that could get you a BNIB SS white Daytona.

I've heard the exact same line at 2 AD's in my area I've visited in the past week, and each also said they were the only AD in the entire state to have one.

I am trying very hard to use a lot of restraint. But I did start laying the ground work by at least mentioning the idea to her.

Sure seems like some AD's are difficult to deal with after reading this forum. It seems like they dont want to sell watches or something. I mean this IS retail isn't it? Expensive, but still retail. sounds like that AD needs a reality check, and drop their noses a bit. J |

Actually I thiink it is sign of high end retail and understanding the market. I'm not saying it's fair but look at the Daytona. It sounds as ADs use these as rewards for very good customers, or thoose customers that spend more money. If you really want it you will be willing to spend more to get it.
