That is just not how Rolex rolls.....Rumors are rumors and Rolex does not leak out anything! It is all in their timing. I would love to see Daytona updated and do think it is probably time though IMHO.

Maybe in a couple of years to coincide with its 50th anniversary, it makes no sense to update it at present

It will just be a matter of time before they update it.

Current model is way too small. They need to maxi it.

I disagree. The small size is what sets it apart from the bazillions of 7750 chronos out there that are too big. If they upsized the Daytona it would lose it's unusual appeal as a practically sized auto chrono.

They should not increase the size...This trend of making things bigger and bigger is really pointless, I mean where does it stop?
The only things I would like to see on a Daytona are: Less bling, i.e. more brushed surfaces, and, How about a Daytona in Titanium? I would like that... |

why mess with perfection? it won't be a daytona if rolex puts the date function on it.

I just saw a picture, I think on this forum, of Arnold Schwarzenegger wearing a 60 mm watch. Once you go past absurd there doesn't seem to be any stopping.

every time I put my Daytona on I realize what a beauty it is....there is no call for Rolex to play with it as far as I can see....but heck...if they did change it I'm sure I'd take a peek.
