I seem to remember that as well. I think there's a massive time allowed (if purchased new) of up to twelve months for the free dial swap. But I doubt they would let you keep the original dial as a spare.

I believe that's the case, Martin, but I couldn't quote the price off the top of my head

tried one on at an ad in the wirral yesterday. They had one in the window there.Wasnt smitten.I already have a v series sub date ( bought in april ) and actually prefer the former model. To me the new ones case in particular is out of proportion to the width of the bracelet and the so called improvements all round just do not justify the extra £600 plus you need to spend on an already relatively expensive model.
I had to try it on just to see but no regrets at all on buying the previous model.

I just popped in my AD and was told he'll have 1 possibly 2 in October which are taken and even though I'm third on the list I'll probably have to wait a year. They didn't really want to discuss the watch with me at all so I left. I bought 2 watches from then last year so think I might try elsewhere although probably just as well as I spent the money I had saved for the Sub on a PAM312

Withing 3 months, you pay the labour (£100 + VAT), and they keep the old dial...

CRAZY if you ask me..... move over SS Daytona me thinks
Johnson's in Nuneaton has one. I had a good play with it, though never seriously thinking of taking it over the 116613. it is beautiful though and i was able to hold it and the 16610 together. the new one is a significant upgrade, in my opinion. then again, i am a huge fan of the ceramic bezel. gorgeous.
