This forum is lucky to have a guy like Steve Mulholland
There are so many great people here on the forum, but certain ones shine through. In light of recent events I wanted to post my experience so you know what a good seller is like. I don't know if you remember, but I recently traded Steve Mulholland my 5513 for one of his 1680s, well, you know me, I am about as indecisive a person as you will ever meet, I was pissed at myself for trading such a beautiful 5513 and I asked Steve if he would trade back, he said it wasn't a problem! I was shocked, and to boot he had already sold the watch to his wholesaler. Steve went and bought the watch back from his wholesaler! I wanted a new Superdome installed to replace the service crystal, and he did that as well! Now, to boot we agreed to trade the insert to a more faded one, once again, no problem! Can you believe this? Steve is an awesome guy and he had every right to be upset at me and refuse to trade back, but he wasn't and he didn't. Instead he was a gentleman and helped me out. These are the types of people we should be buying from on this forum. Steve is a great guy and I just wanted to post this to tell you guys what a super businessman Steve is. Thanks again Steve and I can't wait to get my baby back.

Steve is extremely well thought of here at TRF and has been a supporting member here long before his successful venture into the vintage watch business.
They say a man's only as good as his word and Steve's word has been gold.

Steve is obviously top notch!
Nicko, you are not exactly making yourself shine with all this back and forwards about your 5513, then hating vintages, then wanting another Sub model... ;-) |

Had a similar experience of indecision on my part, but on a smaller scale involving bezel inserts. Steve was very patient, and very quick to communicate.
He's a gem!

Right on the money, Steve! I've bought from Steve before and the entire transaction was like 'glass'. He remains someone that I would buy from with almost no questions asked and feel completely safe in doing so!

Steve is a great guy. I've been swapping emails with him periodically for a few months as he was looking for a very specific vintage watch on my behalf. No purchases yet, but his friendly and responsive professionalism leave me with no doubt that he's a stand-up guy!

No, sad to say some are trying to keep it alive...Ehhhh Jockstrap? Anyway, they are good, just a tad longer, most likely early 5508s as Rolex routinely pulled whatever was in their bin.

Very nice, bro!
Glad you got it back. The dial's just gorgeous, and Steve's right about the faded insert. Good call.
