Mine only came with the ability to tell time.

Mine moves over a notch here and there throughout the day/night but I am certain it is due to it getting caught on to something which gives it enough force to advance a notch.

Not an issue for me.

In a year of nearly daily wear, my classic Sea-Dweller bezel has migrated 2 clicks one time. I'd bet all you need is a new/adjusted spring.

While the new bezels are by design (ball bearings) much easier to move than the previous generation Subs and Sea-Dweller, being still uni-directional and counter-clockwise guarantees your safety : if moved accidentally they will show MORE time meaning more conservative parameters for your dive (deco stops if required, superior pressure group after the dive...) and again more conservative parameters for the next (successive) dive. Safety's safe

My GMTII-C has to have a bit of force to move. I can run my two fingers around the bezel with decent force and it still doesn't want to move.

It's safe to say this bezel isn't going anywhere without a force acted upon it, besides gravity.
