No it shouldn't, they have playe 9 innings for over 100 years... you need to get 27 outs, not 21.
The bullpen blew it, part of the game...

good luck!
Go Yankees!

You're absolutely right. But to a man on the Rangers, you know, they feel and know how well they have played over the first two games. My hat's off to the defending World Champs in that comeback win in game 1!!!

http://sports.espn.go.com/new-york/m...rew&id=5697203

"....Still, the Rangers have dominated the Yankees for 17 of the 18 innings of this series. Without the eighth inning of Game 1, the Yankees have been outscored 12-3. They have been out-hit (.302 to .197).

Can Joe Girardi maintain his calm demeanor throughout the postseason? You can't take Saturday's eighth away from the Yankees, but you also can't deny that the Rangers have dominated every other inning."

Game 3 is going to be off the hook!!!

Complete and utter domination by Cliff Lee tonight. Nothing better than watching the Yank-mes suck it up big time on national TV. The best part of all? Watching all the rat Yank-me fans bail out of that cheap, bandbox of a ballpark after Rangers blew it open in the 9th. Yeah, great fans.

Cliff Lee was certainly dominant as he always is. There is still a lot of baseball to be played. It isn't over yet. I have to comment on one thing though. You clearly have not been to Yankees Stadium if you think it is a cheap ballpark. The place is absolutely gorgeous. I have been to 22 different stadiums and the new Yankees Stadium ranks up there as one of the best. It is an absolute gem.

Yankees

Cliff Lee..just dominated...Pettite was awesome as well...

It takes 27 outs to win a game, and 4 games to win a series...so it is never over till that last out of that last game...the Yankees should know this better than anyone...Red Sox in 04 did it to them pretty good...

Our problem is hitting....teix, Arod, Jet, have not produced...give credit to the Texas pitching...but big hits win big games....

Burnett will hopefully come through in game 4...he is due and has something to prove...CC will come back with his normal performance then we have a 3-2 game lead and better put them away in game 6 before seeing Lee again in game 7....

great comeback multimedia

i'm loving this series and one of the reasons is that the championship goes through the nyy. if you want to be the best, you got to take it from the best

a.j. better bring his "a" game... because history tells one the odds are mighty tough to overcome a 3 to 1 deficit.

let's go "big game hunter" bring us ranger fans closer to the promised land

Burnett intentionally walks Murphy, and then Molina homers right after...

Bases loaded, down 4 with 1 out, and they manage to score; yes you guessed it. ZERO!
