"Bond Watches, James Bond Watches" Exhibit at National Watch & Clock Museum in PA

Hello James Bond Enthusiasts!

There is a great exhibit of James Bond watches and memorabilia titled "Bond Watches, James Bond Watches" at the National Watch & Clock Museum in Columbia, PA and will be running for an extended period from June 18th, 2010 to April 30th, 2011.

Information at:
http://www.nawcc.org/index.php/museu...s-bond-watches

It features Ian Fleming's actual Rolex Explorer I 1016 (1954 model), on display for the first time since Fleming passed away, as well as original manuscripts, movie posters, related advertising, etc. and sounds very cool.

Thought it would be nice to share this info with those may be interested (ref: featured on page 26 of June 2010 Watch Time Magazine).

Cheers!!

Chuck, this is cool thanks for sharing. Are there any videos that exist which show the actual exhibit and watches that you know of?

Hi Dan...thanks...I though it was pretty cool too!

I did a little digging around and there are some photo's of the exhibit (and much more cool stuff) at the following links:

and specifically of interest from that page regarding the exhibit:

As well this cool link with screen shots from all the movies of the various Bond Watches through the ages:

I went last week to see the James Bond exhibit, and stayed for the rest of what turned out to be an extensive clock museum. I thought I'd go through in an hour, and spent about 3 hours there. They had about a dozen Bond watches in total- from my perspective the only one of real interest was Ian Fleming's actual Explorer. But I did enjoy all of the other exhibits. Definitely worth a trip.
