Decision made,ordered & collected....
Well after several months of batting back and forth. And several threads on various forums.
I made my decision and in the end went with my gut feeling. From the moment that I saw the first photos back in April, I knew that this piece would be a winner. On Tuesday night, my wife & I attended an evening event at our AD. Then on Wednesday morning, after things had returned back to normal, we again visited our AD, where I collected this beauty. It's the new 5205G Annual Calendar, that was released this year at the Basel Fair.

That watch is wonderful. The side view is also not something you see every day.

Tony, that is a gorgeous watch - I wasn't sure I liked it at first, but I find myself staring at it and the more I do, the more I think it may be the next grail for me. I love the color, the strap, the dial - sheesh, it's just really a beautiful piece. Stunning and very, very well done sir!

Very impressive how the date, day and month are all in the same arc. That must be a very complicated movement to do that.

Looks like a GMT dial to me with a moon phase. 24 numbers on it, I can't think of what else it would be.

Absolutely incredible, wear it in good health!
I like the dark dial a lot more than the lighter dial, great choice! |

Thank you for all your kind comments..........
Spuds, the sub dial apart from housing the moonphase also encompasses the AM/PM indicator.
It is especially useful when you are living in countries were it is either light or dark for 24 hours! But seriously it is useful for setting the annual calendar. Dick, thank you for your usual kind words. Regards Tony

Stunning. The other dial version is very cool as well.
Is it my imagination, or is the font size PP are using to sign their name getting larger, in proportion to the dial size? |

That is a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful watch. Congratulations on acquiring such a fine piece.
Here's a pic I found of that impressive movement.

From the photos it looks like the background color of the moon phase dial is the same as the inner dial. At least from the photos it tends to blend together. Is that the case in person? I can't decide if I like this or not.
