To all owners of the Ceramic LV Sub
I just had the pleasure of seing the new ceramic LV sub in the wild. For me, it has been a long awaited event. The green ceramic bezel was beautiful and the contrast of the green dial in the light was eye catching. My compliments flowed as I made my impresssions clearly known to the proud owner. It is certainly true that pictures do not give this model all the justice that it deserves.
Many say that they would not buy this green because it would not go with many colors and would not get much wrist time. As this has been my major concern as well, it would be great if owners could post their wrist shots and comment on the colors they feel go (or do not go) with this watch. This would certainly help me in making a final decision on whether this model should be my next addition. Thanks!

I own the ceramic LV Submariner and think it is a handsome color. When I first saw the pictures after Basel World earlier this year, I wasn't sure, but after strapping one on I couldn't get it out of my mind and IMHO the most attractive & striking of the new ceramic Submariners (I've tried everyone of them on right up to the 18K white gold & blue model).
I never tire of the rich & tasteful Rolex green and the dial can vary in color, depending on lighting, right down to almost black.....very cool. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but certainly popular enough that they are in short supply at this point. Cheers. |

I have a black ceramic submariner, my equals sign on the face looks like the first pictures, it's not centered and is so small you cant tell if it's an equals or a box, is it meant to be like that? when i took it bk to the AD some were not centered and small while others were clearly centered and a proper equals not a box
