Congratulations! I just got my first Rolex a day ago, too! :)

I think the GMTIIC is far outselling the new sub and has become as iconic as the previous generation GMT's. Of course, the lack of sub availability in some areas may be hampering sales but there seems to be no shortage of the GMT ceramic model. I certainly don't understand the how what and why of Rolex distribution.

All that said, a big congratulations on your new watch. Enjoy it and wear it well.

The other way around here in Hong Kong. I see the Subs at the AD but not the GMT IIC.
