I am into amateur and shortwave radio broadcasting and the UTC or GMT function comes in handy for quick time hacks.

I use mine nearly every day at work, more like a 24 hour watch. but it is the simplist watch I have ever used for traveling with the ability to rotate the 12 hour hand without resetting the whole watch, very useful/easy function

If I had a GMT, I would absolutely use it! But, I'm a pilot with a sub. Go figure

I use mine all the time as always travelling. I think it is probably the only true tool watch that's actually used for its true purpose left in the rolex range.

As I think someone said how many people go diving in their sub or caving in their explorer 2?

I've only just bought a GMTIIc so not had chance really to use the GMT hand. However, I most certainly intend to use it when I'm abroad in a different timezone :)

I use it every time I put a flight plan in (pilot) as you need to put all times in UTC.

Or, if involved with phone calls across time zones, I will set the bezel to the time of the person with whom I expect to speak in the near future or over several days.

Yes, I could do the math in my head, but why not let the watch do it for me?
Great minds … . I use mine the same way.

Funny question...like most others I do and that's what exactly the purpose of this Pilot watch. Why I do? Can't miss a single match in the English Premier League guys!

Why would you buy it in the first place?

Hmmm.

I don't have a C, but I have a GMT II and always use it. I usually set it to GMT/UTC time.

Every time I travel between time zones I rotate my bezel as my GMT Master is a I not a II.

I wish I still had my GMTIIc. Should've not sold it.

We are traveling a lot this year and my GMT IIc is the watch I take. It is dressy enough for a formal dinner on a ship and easily handles a swim in the ocean. I use it to keep up with the time here in Arizona where our kids live. When we are home I turn the bezel to EST so I can at a glance keep up with the stock market. I have three Rolex watches but if I could have just one it would be the GMT IIc.

I use it when I travel. Otherwise, it's set to GMT.

Use it all the time - frequent traveler and when I travel its usually at least 2/3 continents in 4-10 days - with such frequent zone changes having the GMT hand set to home is really helpful.
