Why did Rolex go from matte face to gloss black to matte again..
We have seen back and fourth face color change on a number of models now...the Sea Dweller, the Milgauss and now the Explorer...why the back and fourth on the face color..? Trends..fashion..?
gloss black = classic while matte is more legible? I mean would the DSSD not look great with a deep gloss black face...don't some of us wish that the new 39mm EXP had that deep gloss black face we love on the 36mm? Thankfully they left the SubC with that deep gloss black face we all love.. |
