Wow impressive. Does anyone know what the original price was for this set. Also how many were made?

Gary, looks like 40 cases. Didn't see a mention of original cost.

Amazing collection, especially for someone who came of age during the space age.

Last night I was thinking about this purchase. Would you really ship a $175,000 purchase? If I was investing this kind of money I would want to have a face to face meeting not only to see the product first but also to prevent it from being possibly lost while being shipped. This clearly isn't an item that can be replaced.
