I disagree entirely. SS watches allow us normal folks the luxury of owning a high-end watch. I really appreciate that upper-mid-range manufacturers like JLC and Blancpain make most of their watches in SS variants. If only Audemars, Vacheron, and Patek would do the same.

Those first two pictures should be used in a Rolex ad - no joke, you should seriously contact them. Amazing!

Cracking pictures. My one and only Rolex! I think they should be mainly in Stainless Steel as it is a sports watches primarily. (that said, the black faced is so elegant it is great as a dress watch also IMO)

Thanks for all the nice comments.... The setup is incredible basic... Watch just laying on the table... Flash on the camera pointing up to the ceiling for a bouncing effect... Hand held camera.. No tripod or anything special... Shooting speed 1/250 and f11 or f13 if I remember correctly.
I think the equipment is the one that helped a lot...mostly the lens... Camera is a Canon 7D...and the lens is a MP-E 65mm special for extreme macro close-up images... It will go up to 5x.... Most macro lenses only do 1x and that's it. Cheers, Eduardo
